Gothenburg band, Pale Honey, emerge again
from their studio to release a brand new single ‘Real Thing’, the first new
material to be taken from the follow-up to 2015’s acclaimed self-titled debut.
Tuva Lodmark (guitar / vocals) and Nelly Daltrey (drums) comprise Pale Honey, the
duo were nominated as Newcomer of the Year at the P3 Gold-gala in Sweden and
for three categories for Gaffa Prize. The as yet untitled second album is
expected to arrive in Spring 2017, so be sure to keep your eyes peeled!
'Real Thing' Review:
'Real Thing' is a fantastic upbeat, rocky pop single, building into an infectious chorus and energetic track throughout. With infectious guitar and bass riffs laying down the core of the single, beats pumping fire into each section (a cowbell which is the cherry on top of this perfect pop/rock track), and Tuva's vocals bringing the edgy lyrics to life. This is a brilliant follow up from their debut album and takes their aggressive tinged grunge pop to the next level!
